Over the course of three months, me and one other designer tackled creating a logo and brand from scratch for a local Seattle church. I was a recent transplant at the time but by surrounding myself with local Seattleites, I feel as though I really got a good grasp of the culture of Seattle and integrate it with the church's mission.
